Program for Entrepreneurs: New Ventures 3

LivingLab currently participates in Fuqua's Program for Entrepreneurs. The goal of this new program is to assist aspiring entrepreneurs in launching new businesses. It will leverage Fuqua’s academic research, courses and broad community of practitioners to work with entrepreneurs to define, plan, establish and finance new ventures.

 

 

Duke Start-up Challenge

The Duke Startup Challenge, founded in 1999, is designed to help Duke's entrepreneurship community flourish, with a year long entrepreneurship competition followed by an accelerator program.

  Mitchel Gorecki   Graduated from Duke in 2013 majoring in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, and economics with a concentration in finance. His prior role was a data scientist writing high frequency pricing algorithms for trading online advertising. The firm grew to 450 people, went public, and Mitchel went on to get his MBA from Duke.

  Colin Tai   A current Duke undergraduate, majoring in mechanical engineering and economics, with certificates in aerospace engineering and finance. His industry experience includes working at ICBC Asset Management, Mott Macdonald, and Cheung Kong’s Property.
